Our mission is to help young women build confidence, cultivate skills, promote healthy living, earn scholarships toward scholastic achievement, showcase strengths, and serve the community. Rich in history and social significance, the Miss America Organization is a not-for-profit organization that has maintained a tradition for many decades of empowering American women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum in which to express their opinions, talent and intelligence. The Miss America Organization is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs and the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women.
The Miss Pierce County Organization encourages young women, 13 – 26 years of age, to strive to exceed their goals and accomplish their dreams through participation in the life changing Miss America Scholarship Organization. Participating in the Miss Pierce County local preliminary competition, with the opportunity to compete in the Miss Washington and Miss America competitions, not only helps young women pay for college and prepare for a future career but it also provides an opportunity to gain additional life experience, work on issues of importance to society, enhance personal and professional skills, and develop performance-related talents.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, with the focus of preparing great women for the world and the world for great women. We are proud to say that every candidate who participates in our program will be awarded a scholarship for her post secondary education. We are only able to provide these life changing scholarships through partnerships with local businesses and individuals.
