Snowcap Program

Become part of the special world of Miss America, the iconic 102-year-old organization and the Miss Pierce County’s Teen Program as a Pierce County Snowcap!

The Pierce County Snowcap Program is a non-competitive mentorship program.  Our main goal is to help young girls develop poise, self-confidence, social skills and friendships.  The program is open to girl 6 to 10 years old and allows them to be mentored by our Class of 2025 contestants.

Snowcaps participating in the program will enjoy their own special crowning moment and spend quality time with our contestants. They will be learning new dance and musical routines. It is a great opportunity to learn new skills, socialize with all the contestants, and polish up on performing on stage.

Financial Commitment

MPCSP will require a $150 fee to secure entry into the program. MPCSP will furnish age appropriate workshops and activities, an official Miss America tiara and Pierce County Snowcap sash, t-shirt, professional head shot and one chaperone ticket to our competition on November 2, 2024. Our Pierce County Snowcaps will also have the opportunity to perform on stage during the competition along with a special crowning event. Official photos of the “Snowcap Princess Court” will be in the program magazine.

In addition, each Snowcap will need to have a “Sunday best” or party knee length / full length dress with appropriate undergarments and shoes for coronation along with an outfit of our choosing for their on-stage production.  On stage production outfit information will be made available to registered Snowcaps.
